Excellent composition. It is quite well done overall. The two skulls are annoying me a little. Why would most of the faces look like they did in life and only two be skelletons? But it is a monor thing. My favorite part of the picture is the two veiled figures in the boat.

Sorry Bergholz for the late. I'm not here often as I wish. :) Thanks so much, and the skulls are there because I imagined that in the Acheron, the souls rot in a much longer time. So the faces are recent deaths while the skulls died in ancient times. That's my view and a little scary thing maybe but I'm happy you like it :) The figures are far because in all illustrations Dante and Virgil are in the foreground. I wanted to change a little because everyone know who they are :D
